Confidences aborde avec audace le thème des rumeurs. Utilisant les témoignages de l’actrice Zuzana Kaklikova, ils travaillent sur un projet trans-genre, unissant théâtre, performance et vidéo. Provocant la confusion entre le vrai et l’illusoire, et en mélangeant les disciplines, ils dépassent les limites du théâtre pour aller vers une performance hors cadre.
Confidences pose la question : « Croyez-vous facilement ce que l’on vous raconte? » mais surtout « savez-vous pourquoi vous le faites? »
Questions cruciales de cette recherche motivée par le flux d’informations qui nous parvient constamment par différents médiums. Un surplus d’informations que nous ne pouvons contrôler, mais que nous diffusons délibérément, nous situant à l’opposé de l’esprit critique.

Autant de questions que Confidences soulève de façon troublante chez le spectateur, sur le fond, en mêlant la rumeur d’Orléans à des éléments « vécus » par l’actrice principale. Le trouble, le vertige parfois, tient aussi de la forme qui croise et met en abîme le jeu d’acteur-danseur, la fausse trivialité et la puissance minimaliste du texte, les projections vidéo (images documentaires ou prises de vue en studio) et bien sûr, l’univers sonore pouvant aller de la musique concrète aux accents baroques, qu’ils soient lyriques ou psychédéliques.

Confidences boldly deals with the subject of rumours. Using the accounts by actress Zuzana Kaklikova, they work on a trans-genre project, combining theatre, performance and video. By creating confusion between reality and illusion, and by mixing disciplines, they overcome the boundaries of theatre and move towards a performance that cannot be categorized.
Confidences asks the question: “Do you easily believe what you are told?”, but especially, “do you know why you do?”
These critical questions are at the core of this research, motivated by the flow of information constantly reaching us from different media. A surplus of information that we cannot control, but which we intentionally disseminate, thus placing ourselves on the opposite side of critical judgement.

Such are the questions disturbingly raised by Confidences in the viewer, in the background, mixing the rumour of Orléans with elements “experienced” by the main actress. The uneasiness, at times turning into vertigo, affects the form, too, with its cross-referencing and mise en abîme of the actor/dancer roles, the fake triviality and minimalist power of the text, the video screenings (documentary images or studio shootings) and, of course, the universe of sounds, capable of ranging from tangible music to Baroque notes, whether lyrical or psychedelic.
